ALBA Berlin- Valencia Basket: a true Taronja European Classic

returned to practice this morning to begin preparing for the first of the two
away games that the taronja squad will face this week, the visit to the ALBA
Berlin’s court that will be held on Thursday, January 26 at 8:00 p.m. at the Mercedes-Benz
Arena. The confrontation between Valencians and Berliners is a true classic in
the European history of the Taronja team. This German team is the only one
against which Valencia Basket has played two continental finals. And Friday's game will be the 15th clash in an official game in European competitions between
these two teams, which makes ALBA the second most frequent rival in our career
in international competitions. On a field where the German team has recently
become strong again with victories against Cazoo Baskonia and EA7 Emporio
Armani Milan, Valencia Basket has a slightly favorable balance and a fact for
optimism: they have always won in Berlin in games of Euroleague.
